Knowledge Packet Models Reskin

The Knowledge Packets have been reskinned to present all available knowledge model options at the point of creation, providing a consistent, efficient, and intuitive authoring experience. By foregrounding model choices early in the workflow, this approach encourages subject matter experts to think in terms of models rather than ad hoc data structures, reinforcing model-based cognition from the outset. This lowers the barrier to model creation, promotes consistency across knowledge artifacts, and supports the organic growth of increasingly complex, interoperable knowledge systems.

Major Release Updates

Automatic Assignment of K-PAC Members

As part of the IQ 24 release, business rules have been expanded to include K-PAC Business Rules, extending rule-based governance directly into the knowledge authoring and lifecycle workflow. These rules enable teams to define dynamic approval paths and notification behaviors based on the criteria and attributes contained within knowledge packets. By evaluating packet-specific metadata, models, and contextual conditions, K-PAC Business Rules ensure that the right stakeholders are automatically engaged at the right time.

CoP Chooser Re-skin

The Community of Practice Chooser has been moved to the main navigation panel within Auros, making it consistently accessible across the platform. This change provides users with a clear and intuitive way to select and switch between communities of practice, regardless of where they are in the application. By standardizing the interaction and visual placement, the experience reduces cognitive load and eliminates the need for users to reorient themselves to different visualizations from screen to screen. As a result, users can remain focused on their work and domain context, rather than expending unnecessary mental effort navigating the interface.

K-PAC and Issue Approvals on My Dashboard

To continue enhancing the My Dashboard functionality, Knowledge Packet and Issue approvals have been added to provide a more complete and actionable overview of a user’s responsibilities. This enhancement gives users a centralized, intuitive location to view and manage all items awaiting their approval, regardless of where those items originated within the platform. By consolidating approvals into a single, easily accessible dashboard, users no longer need to spend unnecessary time determining where to go or how to locate pending requests. This streamlines decision-making, reduces friction in governance workflows, and helps ensure that approvals are handled promptly and consistently.
